J.P. Connellan

J.P. is the Chief Executive Officer at Advisor Credit Exchange. He has over 35 years' experience in the financial services industry where he has built out business lines and led teams focused on enabling independent advisors to attract new assets, expand client reach and scale operations. Prior to joining ACE, J.P. was the head of UBS’s Independent Advisor Solutions business where he spearheaded UBS’s first major expansion into the independent advisor channel, delivering a curated menu of alternative investments and cash management solutions through the Envestnet network. He began his career at Citi, where he spent more than three decades in several leadership roles, including serving as Head of Americas Private Client Solutions Group where he led a sales team providing municipal and taxable fixed income, equities, and structured product solutions while overseeing distribution to independent advisors and others. He also helped build Citi’s High Net Worth Platform™ as Head of the Municipal Division’s Northeast sales and marketing teams. J.P. served on the Board of Directors for Advisor Credit Exchange representing UBS and was an Advisory Board Member for Villanova University M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing. He was also a member of the Board of Trustees for his alma mater, Saint Leo University in central Florida, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management & Marketing.
